Farm Fest 2012 Scheduled For June 1

The annual Oneida County “Farm Fest” is scheduled for Friday, June 1 at Brabent Farms in Verona. According to Cornell Cooperative Extension, “Farm Fest” is a fun family event that combines educational activities for kids and adults alike as well as games, hayrides and a petting zoo. The public is invited to join for a look at contemporary farm life, great food and music.
There will be a chicken bar-b-que and hot dogs and hamburgers will also be available. Music will be provided by longtime local favorites The Nancy Kenyon Band. The event–like farming itself–will go on rain and shine and there will be a $1 donation. For all the details call 315-736-3394.
