Family Of Dying Man Makes Plea To See the New ‘Hobbit’ Movie Early [VIDEO]

Scott Stouffer is suffering from terminal cancer and his family has one last request; to see the new Hobbit movie before it hits theaters. His daughter Jessy posted a video asking director Peter Jackson to pre-screen 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' because she doesn't think her father will make it to December 17th, when it's released.

Jessy says it's a tradition for her family to watch the Hobbit movies together. 'One wish we would like to fulfill is to have this family tradition continue and see if my family would be able to see it together, before December.'

The family is asking everyone to spread the word using #HobbitMovieLastRequest on social media, including Peter Jackson's Facebook page.

Scott isn't aware of the campaign and Jessy is trying to surprise her dad, but with all the attention her video is getting, that may be difficult.
