Gas Leak Causes Explosion in Manhattan [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
An explosion in East Harlem leveled two buildings, killing 2 people, injuring several more. Many are still missing, believed to be trapped under the rubble. According to the NBC New York, the blast on Park Avenue, was caused by a gas leak. Con-Med received a call from someone smelling gas, minutes before the explosion.
The Metro North transit line has been shut down. Witnesses posted pictures on Twitter.
