Now that we are feeling our first blast of wintery type weather for the season, the thought of more "October-like" temperatures sounds good.  According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, which covers forecasts for our area, we could see a high temperature near 60 degrees over the weekend.

The NWS forecast for Friday is for rain showers, and a high only in the low 40's.  We can then expect a new weather system to move into Central New York early on Saturday.  That will also bring rain, but with is comes temperatures in the upper 50's.  By later Saturday afternoon, some parts of this region could see 60 degrees.

The weather service says yet another system will move through on Sunday with even more rain and cooler temperatures.  The high of 50 degrees is expected for Sunday.

Looking ahead, the NWS is forecasting party sunny skies with temperatures near 60 by the middle of next week.  We are willing to wait a few more weeks before seeing more of the white stuff.
