Are you ready to rock the Utica Aud with Justin Moore? "We're looking forward to coming back up there. This our second to last one of the year so we're going to blow it out."

Moore has been busy touring the country promoting his latest album 'Kinda Don't Care" that he says had him stepping out of his comfort zone. "It's important for me to grow as an artist. But I was really apprehensive and my producer said 'Dude you gotta chill out and stop worrying about every little thing. If you love and are passionate about your music your fans will be too.'"

The change worked. 'You Look Like I Need a Drink' became Moore's 6th #1 and his new record 'Somebody Else Will' is quickly rising up the charts. "It's just not like anything we've recorded before. It's a really fun song to play," says Moore.

We have a pretty high energy show and this our second to last one of the year so we're going to blow it out. Hopefully everyone is as excited for us to come that way as we are to be there

The video for 'Somebody Else Will' will soon be released and Moore says he didn't act in this one. "I refused. I'm convinced I've been acting in more videos because they want to save on the budget and not hire actors."

Shooting videos and acting is not Moore's first love. He says he even turned down the opportunity to do a movie. "There's so much more for me to accomplish in music and that's really what I'm passionate about. But you never know down the road."

Between touring, making videos and promoting his latest album Moore did find time to go on his first mule deer hunt in Wyoming where he bagged two. "I had passed on the deer my buddy shot. He really likes how massive deer look and I kinda like the wide ones so we both got what we wanted. They'll both taste good."

Moore gets his love from hunting from his grandpa who taught him when he was a kid. "Every time I have the opportunity to go out it brings back good memories of him and me getting to spend time together."

FrogFest is home to the strangest thing Moore says he's ever seen at a concert. While driving back from golfing, Moore came across a Dodge Neon covered in mud. "That was pretty awesome. I thought there were a bunch of Rednecks in Arkansas but a Neon that you can't tell what color it is cuz of the mud is pretty hillbilly. I like it."

Moore may remember the mud covered Neon but has tried to erase his 'Worst Interview Ever' from his mind. Moore became victim to Nick Kessler's prank that he says he caught on to about half way through. "I tried to forget it. At times you're going 'Maybe I'm the crazy one. Am I drunk? I don't remember drinking.'"

For anyone who missed Moore at FrogFest, what can they expect when he takes the Utica Aud stage Thursady? "Mediocrity. At this point in the year we're just calling it in," jokes Moore. "No, in all seriousness, we have a pretty high energy. Hopefully everyone is as excited for us to come that way as we are to be there."

Everyone is excited except maybe the kids who's parents tricked them into thinking Halloween was cancelled to win tickets to the concert. "So I don't have any children who are fans of mine up there? Thanks guys."

The Utica Aud doors  open at 6pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Get tickets at the Utica Aud box office online at Empirestatetix.com or by calling 1-866-688-8750.
