EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Biggest Loser Rachel Frederickson Addresses Weight Loss Controversy [AUDIO]
Rachel Frederickson is this season's Biggest Loser, losing over her half her body weight. But was it too much weight? We talked with the winner to find out.
Although critics have blasted Rachel for dropping 155 pounds to finish at 105 at the finale, making her look unhealthy, she's happy with where she's at 'My journey on the Biggest Loser was finding that confident, strong woman again. She came out little by little, week by week. Now that I've found her again, I'm just trying to find that balance of working out and eating healthy to maintain.'
From the looks on their faces, Biggest Loser trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper were shocked with Rachel's drastic results.
Neither Bob or Jillian is comfortable commenting on Rachel's weight loss. Bob sent a message to BL fans on Twitter about the controversy.

Biggest Loser fans weren't as diplomatic.
Wow. Will be interesting to see how the #biggestloser PR team will try to explain Rachel's seriously unhealthy final weight. She looks gaunt.

First time I've ever been concerned about the health of a contestant at the END of the Biggest Loser. Have a snack, Rachel. #BLFinale

Rachel lost more weight than any other contestant in Biggest Loser history. She says the key to her success, other than determination, was to take the first step 'I was watching last season and it empowered me to see how alive they were on that stage with their transformations. My first step was auditioning for the Biggest Loser. Every step after that matters and it brought me through this journey.'
Weight loss isn't all about exercise, it's about making the right food choices too. 'The key is in the kitchen. Eating healthy is as important as working out. I knew if I kept hiding myself and eating how was I was eating, I'd miss out on my entire life.'
Regardless of what anyone thinks, Rachel feels better than she's ever felt in her life and she's looking forward to living it again. We wish her the best.
