Why would you do that? How many times a day do you ask yourself that question? Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco is coming to Syracuse with answers.

The best jokes often come from real life experience and Maniscalco says he grew up in an Italian family with plenty of experiences. "There's never a shortage of material and there's not a shortage of Italians in Syracuse."

Maniscalco may be asking himself why people do that a lot when he brings his tour to the OnCenter in Syracuse November 19th. "That's what people are telling me. That's why we planned it at the beginning of the tour so I could have a whole new hour of material."

18 years doing this, starting out in bowling allies, boxing rings, anywhere you can stage time. Now coming to Syracuse performing in a beautiful theater is a dream come true.

Going from dive bars to the Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse has been a long road for Maniscalco, who says there's a lot of patience involved, some luck and persistence. "18 years doing this, starting out in bowling allies, boxing rings, anywhere you can stage time. Now coming to Syracuse performing in a beautiful theater is a dream come true."

What tops Maniscalco's list of why would you do moments? The latest trend of grooms and his groomsmen putting on a choreographed dance for the bridge. "I couldn't get my groomsmen to get their tuxedo fitted, let alone come to my house and Timberlake it for 6 weeks of rehearsals.' Why would you do that?"

Mansicalco is giving more than just laughs with his latest tour. One dollar from every ticket sold will go to the Tag You're It foundation to give back to organizations that deal with the troops, kid's education and Alzheimer's. "Alzheimer's is near and dear to my heart. My grandfather had it and I know what it did to our family. I just want to shed light on the disease and I'm at a point in my career where I can give back and raise awareness," says Mansicalco.

While in Syracuse, Maniscalco wants to try the local foods.  So we suggested an upstate New York favorite; Chicken Riggies. "Oh I am in. My wife and I are big foodies so we'll be checking out the restaurants and local flavor. See what's going on up in Syracuse."
