Every voice matters. That's the message students at V-V-S want to spread loud and wide.

The VVS Entertainment Industries class is made up of 16 junior and seniors who strive to inspire hope and encourage everyone to make their dreams come true through music. They write lyrics, music, stories, and then record their original work in the in-school recording studio.

The students shared one of those original songs while in studio called 'Care Free,' written by Emma Rogowski.

The EI students are hosting an 'Every Voice Matters' talent show that highlights the talents of not only the members of the class, but other students who want to share their voices.

Proceeds from the show benefit Kennedy’s Cause, founded by a 17-year-old girl who was born with lymphatic malformation. She is trying to raise funds for research that will hopefully lead to better treatment options for herself and for others that have this disease.

In a world that is saturated with everything that is wrong with teens, the students want to send a message of acceptance and appreciation. Not just for teens and their families who are dealing with all the issues associated with being bullied, ridiculed, or unaccepted but to make a difference in our world and show everyone you can live 'Care Free.'

Tickets for the 7pm 'Every Voice Matters' talent show are $5 for adults and $2 for students.
