On Saturday Aug 23rd the United Church of Canastota, 144 Center St, will be hosting its annual summer chicken BBQ starting at 11am. The cost to dine is only $9. Proceeds benefit the food pantry, and the church.

we'll be serving up a half chicken basted and grilled to perfection. You'll also get salt potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans and a roll all for only $10! If you bring a canned good for our food pantry you'll pay only $9! Oh, did I for get to mention that it's also a drive-thru? Just pull-up, pay and drive away with a delicious ready-made meal!
