Taryn Rio, MD will present “Newborn 101: A parent’s survival guide”, a patient education program, at Slocum-Dickson Medical Group’s New Hartford location on Wednesday, October 9th at 6 p.m. in Education Room B. The event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Rio is Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She provides care for children from birth through college age, including preventive care. Dr. Rio enjoys assisting with common parenting dilemmas such as sleeping issues, feeding picky eaters, and breastfeeding problems. Dr. Rio completed her Pediatrics Residency at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. She earned her Medical Degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. Dr. Rio is a member of the American Association of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
