"Kare-eoke for the Kure" to benefit The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life will take place on Friday May 1st from 8PM - 1AM at 12 North Sports Bar in Utica. A $5.00 donation is asked at the door.
There is Music, Karaoke, Raffles and drink specials. There is a Karaoke contest with local celebrity judges: Mary Wilson of WUTR NEWS, Rich Massucci of BRING 'EM DOWN PRODUCTIONS and Joe Sweet of the Sammy Award winning band, NINEBALL. Johnny Lew (formerly of Kiss FM) will be guest MC. To pre-register for contest, contact Mary Brewer at TeamCancerSucks@gmail.com or call 315-269-1819. It is $10.00 to pre-register (to be paid on arrival). Registration at event is $15.00. The Grand Prize for the contest is a 5 hour recording session at Big Blue North Recording studio and a photo shoot with Mark Simon & DirtyJerz Images for a CD cover. Even if you don't sing, come anyway and have a great time for a great cause!
