FrogFest is going Wild West. We're teaming up with the Painted Pony Rodeo, the oldest weekly rodeo in the US, at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds in Frankfort for the Wild West FrogFest & Rodeo June 18th. There will be broncos, roping and barrell racing starting at noon. And we're bringing in not one, but two Nashville acts this year, Rodney Atkins and Jeff Bates. Local bands will hit the stage starting at 2:30.

Tickets

Tickets are $18 and are on sales now at our station on River Road in Marcy, area Price Chopper locations and online here.

Location

Wild West Frog Fest and Rodeo will take place at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds just off the Cemetery Street Exit of Route 5S in Frankfort, NY.  Chart the directions from your house on this interactive map.

Gates Open 9AM

Tim Creaser 2:30-3:00

Jeff Bates 3:45 to 4:30

Rodney Atkins 4:45 to 6:30

VIP TENT

The VIP tent will be open from 12-6pm. All VIP ticket holders will need to get a VIP wrist band once they've entered the fairgrounds.  You will also receive your commemorative FrogFest T-Shirt.

BEER & WINE GARDEN

If you plan on enjoying the beer or wine gardens you must get a wristband. They will be handed out just inside the gates. You must have your ID to get a wristband for alcoholic beverages.  Wine will be available for purchase by the bottle in the wine garden, but bottles can not be uncorked inside the fairgrounds.

PETS

No pets are allowed inside the fairgrounds.

COOLERS

Coolers with food only will be allowed. You can not bring liquids into the fairgrounds. Beverages will be available.  Coolers brought to the event are subject to search.

SEATING

FrogFest tickets are general admission. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for the concert.

 

KIDS COUNTRY

Tiger Belly Bounce will have 2 bounce houses. The Boy Scouts have their rock wall. Ryan's Lions will have fundraising booth with face painting, balloons, games, crafts and raffles.  Learn more about activities for kids here.

RE-ENTRY

Re-entry into the fairgrounds will be allowed if you get a hand stamp before leaving.
