While Eric Church's song, 'Talladega' isn't at ode to the famed NASCAR track, Eric has plenty of experience when it comes to attending races.  In an interview with Billboard he says he may not remember the winner of the race, but he vividly recalls the memory of the trip.

Eric was born and raised in Granite Falls, NC near Charlotte, the hotbed of NASCAR country.  He and his buddies used to pack up all the camping necessities and attend the races.

“NASCAR was as hot as any sport back in the ’90s, and it was a thing where a group of your buddies go take stuff, tents, camp out, stay a few days, walk back and forth to the track,” recalls Church. “We actually lost the damn car, you know; you’re so far away."
There's nothing quite like the panic of losing your car in a mass of vehicles.  Have you ever lost yours?
