You can't put a price on education.  But for the price of $10 you can learn a lot about caring for your horse.  Cornell Cooperative Extension will host an equine workshop October 26.

The workshop, Equine Hoof Health and Care, will be at the Morrisville State College Equine Rehabilitation Center.  The featured speaker is Doug Corey a Certified Farrier. He'll cover a variety of topics; hoof chips and thrown shoes, abscesses and bruises and the 101 of caring for them.  The workshop is October 26 at 6:30.    Registrations can be made online.  The cost is $10.00 for the first registration and $5.00 for each additional farm or family member. Get more details here.
