Enough Already

Is Old Man Winter related to Bill Belichick?  Just when you think you've had enough, more gets piled on.  Kind of like playing the Patriots and being down 60 points but the teams keeps scoring.  

Certain areas of Central New York got hit with more snow than others.  Folks in Syracuse are digging out from under 36 inches, so it could be worse.  I'm in the Clinton area and have shoveled 4 times already this week.  Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to a white Christmas but enough is enough.

Remember your neighbor this time of year.  If you live near a senior citizen or someone who has trouble getting around, lend a hand by shoveling their driveway or stoop.
On the roads, remember to keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you.  I drove into work on icy roads this morning, in my little Honda Civic, with a large SUV riding my tail.   Driving on slick roads is nerve wracking enough, without having to worry about the car behind you. 

Please also remember to brush off your car.  Not just a hole in the windshielf; the whole car.  That way, snow from the roof won't blow into the car behind you; which is usually me.   It's better to take a little extra time to get where you're going than to not get there at all.

By the way, if you haven't had enough snow, more is on the way.  Looks like theres a storm moving into the area for weekend.  So don't put those shovels or snow blowers up just yet.  You'll need it again very soon!
