How bad was the flooding in central New York? See the devastation from drone footage in Whitesboro and the Sauquoit River.

Bill Tuttle captured the massive flooding along the Sauquoit River that closed roads and even left behind huge sinkholes. Residents along the River were evacuated until the levels dropped.

Cars on the Route 12 arterial were stranded after flash flooding, forcing officials to close the road in both directions. A state of emergency was declared in Utica and Frankfort Saturday.

The Red Cross is providing clean up kits at the Boces shelter on Middle Settlement Road today.
