Dreading the Dentist?
Is it just me, or is the dentist's chair the worst place to sit? I guess it all depends on your childhood experiences. My daughter loves to go. But she had a great dentist and received a prize out of the prize chest every time she went. I, on the other hand had a dentist who should have retired in 1970 and didn't use novocaine. And I had a number of cavities as a kid. It wasn't until I was in my early 20s I received my first shot to get a cavity filled. Luckily I've had clean check ups for years. But a clean checkup still includes a cleaning, with a drill that shoots water and makes that noise that makes you cringe. If we can put a man on the moon and make cars that run on electricity, why can't someone make a drill without the noise that makes your behind come out of the chair.
Bill Cosby puts his spin on a trip to the dentist. And even though it's from 1983 it's still relevant today.
