Don’t Text At A Job Interview

Well, it seems like a no-brainer, but a new survey from careerbuilder.com says reading a text message at a job interview is the biggest mistake a person can make.

71-percent of those polled said reading a text is biggest mistake, while 69-percent said dressing inappropriately and appearing uninterested tied for second as the next big no-no during a job interview.

The other job interview blunders that probably won't land you a job according to the poll are appearing arrogant, speaking negatively about an employer, chewing gum, not providing specific answers to questions and not asking the interviewer good questions.
