Don Johnson Sheds His “Miami Vices”

He was the epitome of ’80′s cool. Sonny Crockett, played by Don Johnson, gave “Miami Vice” the fashion look every guy wanted. A loose suit over a T-shirt and deck shoes with no socks, now that was cool. Don Johnson, however, was fighting his own demons. “I was a multiple substance kind of guy”, he tells Rolling Stone, “I would drink, smoke pot, do cocaine, maybe eat a Quaalude. I’d wake up the next morning feeling like I’d been hit by a truck”. Not so anymore.
Don is now a sober, happily married father of three and time has changed how women relate to him. “Some hot chick walks up to you and you’re going, ‘Okay, still got it!’ and she’s like, ‘I don’t know if I’ve ever seen you in anything but my mother thinks you’re the bomb!’ ” Move over Don, it’s Justin Bieber’s turn.
