Dog Eats Cash, “Deposits” It To Owners Relief

If you have ever had a dog you know that they can and will eat almost anything. A Largo, Florida couple, Corey and Hope O’Kelley found this out first hand recently when, according to UPI, their beagle Arnie chowed down on $300 in cash. Their first thought was , “How are we going to get it back?”. They devised a strategy.
The couple said they took Arnie were extra walks and were “relentless” about collecting his dog doo in order to retrieve their cash. Hope O’Kelley said she was delighted when Arnie assisted by vomiting up some of the scraps.
“We found a pile of vomit, and I was like, ‘Yes,’” she said.
The story has a happy ending as the couple cleaned the scraps of the bills, enlisted friends to help piece them together and returned them to a bank which replaced them after verifying them by serial numbers. Take a look at the project they face at putting the bills together.
