It's time to spring forward and move the clocks ahead by one hour this Sunday at 2 a.m. as Daylight Saving Time goes into effect.  That means we'll get another hour of daylight and one less hour of sleep on Sunday morning.

Weather forecasters celebrated the start of spring this past weekend; but, officially, spring begins with the vernal equinox on March 20 at 12:57 p.m..

The extra hour means that the sun will set on Sunday at 5:58 p.m. and daylight will linger into the 6 o'clock hour and dark will officially descend at 7:32 p.m..

Now we can only hope for warmer temperatures!
