Dave’s 5 Biggest Moments Of 2014

As we get ready to start 2015, we are all taking moments to look back at some of the biggest moments of the year. I've had a pretty amazing 2014. Here's a few of some of my biggest moments of the year.

5) Began Working At Big Frog 104 Full Time

I've lived in Central New York my entire life. Growing up as a student in Westmoreland, Big Frog 104 was the station to listen too. It's been a dream to get the chance to work here. I've done some part time work in the past, but this year I was able to take on the afternoon show. It's been amazing getting to know all of our listeners, and of course playing the best and most country!

4) Saying Goodbye To My First Car

I bought my first car senior year of high school and drove it 5 years after that. It had a ton of problems through the years, including damage from when I hit a deer. I grew up, and said goodbye to my first car. It was sad, but life goes on.

3) Learning Not To Leave Car Keys In My Car Overnight

This one should have been common sense, but I guess it wasn't. We ended up leaving the keys in our car one night, and of course the car got stolen. However joke was on the guys who robbed it because I was on empty with the check gas light on when I parked on the street that night. When I picked up the car, they filled the gas tank. I guess I got a little chuckle out of that fact, and the fact they served some jail time because of it.

2) Celebrating The Birth Of My Niece Amelia

This year we got to welcome Amelia Jean to the world. She is my oldest sister's daughter, and the first grandchild for my parents. In the past few month's she's started walking, and I love the fact I'm able to see her photos all the time on Facebook from my sister. We got to spend Christmas morning with her and see her eyes light up to all the toys Santa brought.

1) Marrying The Woman Of My Dreams

I met Sarah when I worked for our sister station Lite 98.7 in 2011 while giving out free chocolate on a hot July night. I was pretty angry I had to work this event, but my night got better when Sarah walked by my table. Ever since that night I was crazy about her. This past June, actually the same day of FrogFest 14, we tied the knot at our church in Clinton. It was amazing spending time with family, and of course going up to Lake Placid for our honeymoon.
