Danny Gokey is a Daddy

Congrats to American Idol alum Danny Gokey, who is now a daddy. His wife gave birth to a boy they named Daniel Emanuel.
According to People, Gokey’s wife Leyicet gave birth to Daniel Sunday night. Gokey told People he’s over the moon with his new son.
‘Leyicet and I are overjoyed to welcome the new member of our family. I’m ecstatic to be a first time dad and to have a new little buddy to hang out with.’
The happy couple announced they were expected last July. They tied the knot almost a year ago, January 29th. They’ll have a lot to celebrate this year.
