Have you been craving the delicious taste of Dairy Queen ice cream? You won't have to wait much longer, the chain has announced their target opening date for Cicero and other locations in Syracuse.

According to Syracuse.com, the Cicero Dairy Queen will open August 17th on Route 11 between Midas and Valvoline.

The chain is also targeting a location in Fayetteville or DeWitt. The Cicero Dairy Queen will be a Grill & Chill location. It will have a full food menu, ice cream treats, cakes and Orange Julius offerings."

The restaurant will employ more than 100 people. The closest locations to Syracuse now include a seasonal spot in Oneonta and one in Watertown.
