With the semi-finals next week, The Voice top 8 sang for a spot in the top 5. The last man standing on Blake Shelton's team, Craig Wayne Boyd took us to the honky-tonk with the Eagles 'Take It Easy.'

Craig Wayne Boyd

Craig Wayne Boyd took a 40 year old song and made it fresh, putting his own spin on 'Take It Easy.' His performance was easy on the ears and eyes. Will it be enough to send him into next week's semi-finals? The coaches think so. 'This is your show. People love you,' Pharrell told Boyd. Coach Shelton asked 'I don't know how you felt about this week's performance but I've been nervous as crap about this one. You set the bar so high with the performance of 'I Walk the Line,' how do you follow that up. I think what you did was perfect. I feel like we all got to go to one of those honky-tonks you played along the way.'

Boyd's performance even impressed Randy Houser.

Three will be sent home tonight. THREE! The remaining 5 will head into the semi-finals next week. Who do you think it'll be?

If Ryan Sill isn't eliminated after being in the bottom 3 for the past 3 weeks, I'll be shocked. But I said that last week. DaNica Shirey, who's been a front runner, could be in trouble after an average performance. And Chris Jamison may be the third one sent home, although he made Marvin Gaye proud with 'Sexual Healing.' The talent is so good this year, it's hard to tell who will go home and who will move on. Tune in to NBC tonight at 8 to find out.
