Craig Morgan to Make Cameo on ‘Rizzoli & Isles’

If you’ve watched Craig Morgan‘s video for ‘This Ole Boy,’ you’ve witnessed the undeniable chemistry between the country superstar and his on-screen love interest, actress Angie Harmon. Morgan and the beautiful brunette are uniting once again, this time in Harmon’s familiar territory when the singer guest-stars in an episode of ‘Rizzoli & Isles,’ the actresses’ popular TNT network drama.

On the show, Harmon plays a tough Boston detective alongside privileged medical examiner, Maura Isles, played by actress Sasha Alexander. Morgan will appear in an upcoming episode as Dr. Bill Ray Higgins, a visiting medical examiner. As the plot unfolds, the singer-turned-actor helps Rizzoli and Isles solve a murder case while in town for Boston’s Bullet and Blast Injuries Symposium.

Though this is Craig’s first opportunity to play a doctor on the small screen, his latest television gig isn’t his first foray into acting. Morgan appeared on an episode of ‘Army Wives’ earlier this year, and he is the host of his own ‘All Access Outdoors’ show on the Outdoor Channel. The program’s third season will premiere on July 1.

The third season of ‘Rizzoli & Isles’ is slated to air on TNT on June 5 at 8PM ET. No word on when Morgan’s episode will air.
