Couple Who Love April The Giraffe Get Engaged At Animal Adventure Park

John and Alana live in Los Angeles and stayed glued to the live feed of April the Giraffe's birth camera. So when it came time for John to pop the question, the obvious venue was here in New York at the Animal Adventure Park.

In the Facebook video posted by the Animal Adventure Park, John says the couple met online and have been together for nearly a year and a half.

After watching April go through labor for what seemed like forever, the couple had to make a trip to see her and baby Tajiri. That's when John executed his plan flawlessly.

How great is that? April brought the world together to watch her give birth, and now she can claim responsibility for at least one marriage proposal.
