A goose that got stuck in the snow was saved thanks to the efforts of one couple. Sherry Karlik Genkos and her friend came across the buried bird in Green Lakes State Park and dug it out. Genkos posted the touching moment on Facebook.

"Just after sunset today at Green Lakes State Park we came upon a goose nose down buried in the snow. We thought he must have died that way. We noticed that his tail feathers slightly moved. We dug him out with a snow brush and miraculously he survived! Such a beautiful thing to witness!"

Despite being a little shaken, the goose flew off to join his feathered friends.
