Couple Married 72 Years Dies 1 Hour Apart Holding Hands

Now this is true love.  An Iowa couple, married 72 years, died one hour apart as they held hands.  94 year old Gordon Yeagar and his wife, 90 year old Norma, were critically injured in a car accident last week.  At the hospital, nurses kept the couple side by side, where they held hands. 

Gordon stopped breathing but his heartbeat still showed up on the hospital monitor.  Nurses say it was because he was holding his wife's hand.  She passed away exactly an hour later.

It's nice to know it doesn't just happen in the movies.  Some marriages really do last a lifetime.
