Country Roads–Zach’s Weekly Snaps [PHOTOS]
After a little bit of a hiatus from Zach's Weekly Snaps, I'm back with another installment. One of my favorite things to do is to grab my camera, hop in my car and drive--let the road take me wherever. It's always interesting to see what you'll find while you're driving on country roads in particular. So, one day, I got in my car and drove. And, this is what I found. I would like to share with you my snaps. This week's theme--Country Roads.
"Blowin' in the Wind"
It was a cold morning when I decided to take some snaps on some country roads, and, the wind was blowing--a lot. I noticed these plants blowing in the wind and liked the looks of them. (Please note: To see a larger size of the picture on the left, just click on it.)
Cow
What would a trip down country roads be without cows? I saw this cow from the road and rolled down my window to get this snap. I really like the stare the cow has in this photo.
Old Cemetery
Sometimes, you never know where you're going to end up while driving on a country road. I spotted this and took a picture of it. I really like the old look this statue has.
"Citizens Supply"
In addition to old-looking statues, you find some pretty interesting signs while driving on country roads. And, you drive into some very movie-like, small towns and villages. That's one of the things I like most about my road trips on country roads. Can you guess where this sign is?
Off Road
Like the cow photograph above, I saw this truck from the road, rolled down my window and snapped this photo. This one is one of my favorites from my country road travels. It looks like the truck has been there for awhile--almost like it was parked and forgotten about--and that's what I like about it.
