Country Newcomer Kira Isabella Has a Song For Anyone Who Wants ‘A Country Boy For Christmas’
If don’t get to spend the holidays with that special someone this year, you may want Santa to bring you what Kira Isabella is asking for. She’s new to the country music scene, especially on this side of the border. Kira is 18 and one of Canada’s newest rising stars and her new Christams song is getting lots of attention. ‘A Country Boy For Christmas’ is the song for anyone looking for a guy with ‘eyes like Keith Urban, be strong like Tim McGraw, have hair like Dierks Bentley and sing like them all.’ And if there is such a man like that, he’d be on everyone’s Christmas wish list this year. Kira who calls Ottawa Ontario home, will be on CMT’s “Gift of Giving” concert special. She talks about performing with some of her idols, her new Christmas song and why fighting hunger is so important to her. The “Gift of Giving” special will be airing all month on CMT, OWN, W and YTV.
“A Country Boy For Christmas” is available on iTunes.ca as part of the ‘CMT – The Gift of Giving’ compilation album. A portion of the proceeds will go to Canadian food banks.
From this picture on Kira’s Facebook page, it looks like she already has her foot in the Nashville door. They say it’s all about who you know and Miranda Lambert is a good person in Nashville to know.
