Country Boys Form ‘Backstreet Cowboys’ For Group Round on ‘American Idol’ [RECAP VIDEO]
Still no siting of locals Ethan Harris or Kaitlyn Jackson on 'American Idol,' as the group round began. We did get to see country boys Ben Briley, Casey Thrasher, and Dexter Roberts come together to form 'Backstreet Cowboys' and sing the Backstreet Boys 'I Want it That Way.'
The judges were entertained and loved how the boys did it their way. 'I love seeing three southern guys doing a song that has really nothing to do with what they do musically and making it work' Keith Urban told the group. All three cruised through to the next round, proving that's how country boys roll.
So good!! RT @AmericanIdol: The Backstreet Cowboys are singing the @backstreetboys! #HollywoodWeek

If their solo careers don't work out, maybe these three could form the first country boy band.
These three country guys on Idol call themselves the Backstreet Cowboys and they sang I Want It That Way. My day has been made.

The 77 contestants who are left will have to sing a solo song for a spot in the Top 30. Tune into Fox Wednesday night at 8 to see if Ethan Harris or Kaitlyn Jackson moves on.
