‘Corked’ Wine Bar Next To Cavallo’s Now Open [PHOTOS]
If you love wine, craft beer, quality liquor, and supporting local business then "Corked" is for you! What used to be a dark, smoky, cigar bar is now a bright, inviting, and beautiful new wine bar and it's now open right next to Cavallo's restaurant in New Hartford. After just a little more than a month Noelle Cavallo-Nattress and her husband Russ have totally transformed the "Hava Cigar Bar" into a wonderful venue that everyone can enjoy, not just smokers.
When you first walk into "Corked" from the main bar at Cavallo's, you will immediately notice the changes. Instead of the stairs going directly down into the bar, they run parallel to the wall which really opens up the place to give people more room to walk around. This gives the bar a lot more room.
A good way to describe New Hartford's newest bar, is modern but rustic. It has beautiful wood work and a beautiful brick wall behind the bar which gives it a lot of character. It's not just a brick wall, they added really nice shelving and decor to make it even more aesthetically pleasing.
All of the beers and most of the wines are from New York. I don't know about you, but I love to drink stuff that's local, especially when it's good!
Here Are The Beers They Have On Draft!
Both the Saranac Legacy IPA and Ithaca Flower Power were featured at this year's Utica on Tap event.
There isn't just great drink, there are also really tasty appetizers all at one great price!
It was a big day for Noelle and Russ. The grand opening was Friday night and the chamber was on hand for a ribbon cutting and to give them a certificate. Being someone who constantly goes to Cavallo's, since I was young, it was really exciting to be there for this next chapter in a true hometown spot!
I can tell that everyone there were having a great time and I am sure that this bar will do incredibly well. It's the perfect spot to get some quality drinks and have fun with friends and family.
