Cornell University has released its list of the locations most likely to have a white Christmas this year and upstate New York is well represented. Pinkham Notch, N.H., is number one on the list followed by some familiar nearby snow "capitols".
Rounding out the likely top 5 snowiest places: Booneville, N.Y. 94 percent probability, Old Forge, N.Y., 92, Caribou, Maine, 92 and St. Johnsbury, Vt., 89.
