Community Halloween Schedules
The kids will be out trick or treating this Monday, Halloween, and some local communities have established schedules and planned special events to help them celebrate. With thanks to the Utica Observer Dispatch we have a list of trick or treating times and events for a number of villages in the Mohawk Valley.–Clinton will begin with a Halloween parade in the village at 6:30 followed by a costumer contest and
refreshments at the firehouse
–Frankfort has established village trick or treating hours from 5:30 to 7:30
–Herkimer will allow trick or treating between 5 and 7
–Ilion’s trick or treating hours are from 6 until 8
–New Hartford will begin with a parade at 6 starting at the firehouse and ending there as
well with treats and a costume contest
–New York Mills will feature a parade at 6 from Pulaski Park to the firehouse with a
Halloween party to follow.
All of these events are slated for Monday. Use caution while driving as the many kids will probably be running loose with excitement and it will be up to you to be on the lookout.
