After the Utica Comets had all but won Game 1 of their Calder Cup Playoff opener in Chicago last night, Travis Green and company were able to regroup and pullout the win in double overtime.

Opting to open the series on the road, Utica held a 2-1 lead as time wound down in the third period. Incredibly, the Wolves were able to notch the game tying goal with just one second left in regulation. In the end, Bobby Sanguinetti was able to put back a rebound for the game winner in the second extra session to give the Comets to a 1-0 lead in their best-of-5 series.

Hunter Shinkaruk (1-1-2) and Nicklas Jensen (1-0-1) also lit the lamp for the Utica, who will remain on the road an play Game 2 on Friday night in Chicago.
