It's been 38 years since James D. Knox was last seen and nobody knows what happened to him.

State Police are still investigating Knox's disappearance after nearly 40 years.

On December 21, 1979 Knox's Grandmother reported him missing after last seeing him at her home in South Warsaw on December 9, 1979.

After investigating, police found that he had been seen by friends and locals in Warsaw on December 10 and 11, but then he seems to have vanished.

Knox was living at 35 Wyoming Street, Warsaw, NY and on medical leave from Leroy Machine Co., in Leroy, NY at the time of his disappearance, and was known to frequently visit a local pizzeria in Warsaw.

James D. Knox is a white man about 5' 11" tall, 150 pounds with dark blonde hair, blue eyes, and he wears eyeglasses.

He was 24 when he disappeared.
