Cledus T. Judd has been out of the spotlight for almost a decade, but he's back in a big way, with 'Double D Cup,'  his parody of Toby Keith's 'Red Solo Cup.'  So what has Cledus been up to lately?  'Working like a 'frog.'  Happened to get lucky and get a deal at Warner Brothers and the new single 'Double D Cup' is out.  The video has been the #1 most viewed on CMT the past 2 weeks. So things are good.'

The video is also the most watch page on our website too.  People can't seem to get enough of those double d cups.  Where does an idea like that come from? 'I was walking through the mall and happened to see a couple of double d cups and it was just that simple.  No actually, I just got sick of singing Red Solo Cup.  People would rather me put that vision in their head than a red solo cup, I guarantee you.'

So has Toby heard the song or seen the video? 'He's called and I just decided not to answer the phone.  I just don't want to get reamed yet. I told Toby if you want to sue me, I've got a '79 cutlass with a title in the dash, so bring it on. I ain't heard from him since.'

Cledus T. Judd

Cledus took some time off to focus on the more important things in life, like family and getting healthy.  He's happy to be back and have a hit on his hands again. 'It is good to be back. I had a few years off to just get my head on straight and get a little clarity in life. Once my little girl came into the picture, I wanted to be healthy and make sure that I was able to do all the things with her that I need to do.  Considering where I was 10 years ago to where I am now, which is about 90 pounds, I'm pretty happy.'

Now that Cledus is back in the spotlight, what does the future hold? 'I want to get our and tour this summer and we're going to finish up the album that will be out in a few months.  We'll probably do one more single, a song called 'The House That Broke Me,' which is a rehab song.'

For his comeback, Cledus decides to first take on Toby Keith, and now Miranda.  Does he have a death wish?  I just hope they both have a sense of humor.  Looking forward to the new album and tour Cledus.  Stay healthy and stay funny!
