The 'American Idol' Top 10 chose Top 10 songs from the past three years. Unfortunately no one delivered a Top 10 performance. CJ Harris was 'Invisible' while Dexter Roberts chose to 'Cruise' and may cruise into the bottom three this week.

Dexter Roberts

Country boy Dexter Roberts started strong with Florida Georgia Line's 'Cruise,' slowing it down. Once he hit the chorus, it was just another mediocre karaoke version of one of the most recognizable songs in any genre of music. Although I love Dexter, he's starting to lose momentum, delivering average performances each week and disappointing the judges.

CJ Harris

CJ Harris may have became 'Invisible,' with his off pitch performance of Hunter Hayes latest single. Keith Urban loved the emotion Harris put into the song but not the voice.

The remaining 8 Idols didn't fair much better. There wasn't one performance that stood out. It was an average night with average performances that continues to prove why ratings continue to drop. It's a shame since I love watching Keith Urban each week.

The Idol Top 10 could become the Top 9 if one more is eliminated tonight on Fox at 9pm. I doubt the judges will use their one save of the season after last night's lackluster performances from the entire Top 10.
