CJ Harris Becomes a Frontrunner With ‘Can’t You See’ on American Idol – Songs of the Cinema Recap [VIDEOS]
After weeks of lackluster performances, the 'American Idol' Top 11 finally brought their A game for 'Songs of the Cinema' week. Soulful singer CJ Harris became a frontrunner with 'Can't You See.' Country boy Dexter Roberts honored his sweet home of Alabama and rocker Caleb Johnson delivered an amazing, unpredictable performance of Adele's 'Skyfall.'
CJ Harris
CJ Harris poured his heart and soul into 'Can't You See' from the movie 'Blow,' blowing the judges away. The performance had Keith on his feet and Jennifer Lopez saying 'you're a frontrunner.' Florida Georgia Line agrees.
Daaaang! Did y'all catch @CJHarrisMusic on @AmericanIdol ?? He just killed "Can't You See".

Dexter Roberts
Country boy Dexter Roberts stuck to his roots, choosing 'Sweet Home Alabama' from Forrest Gump. The judges loved the performance but wanted to hear more originality. Keith Urban need more 'Dexterism.' There's a huge difference between being a good singer and an artist.
Hope to hear more #dexterisms from @ImDexterRoberts next week! #idolKU - KU

Caleb Johnson
Rocker Caleb Johnson unexpectedly chose Adele's 'Skyfall' from the James Bond movie. He nailed the song by putting his own rock flare in it. The performance had the judges on their feet and Jennifer Lopez saying 'you'll be hard to beat.' I was shocked by the unusual song choice but was blown away.

Malaya Watson
Quirky Malaya Watson closed the night with one of the best performances of the night, choosing 'I Am Changing' from the movie Dreamgirls. She won't be going anywhere anytime soon if she keeps performing like THAT!

Jena Irene
Everyone may have trouble remembering Jena Irene but they won't soon forget her performance of 'Decode' from the Twilight movies.

One may be sent home tonight if the judges don't use their one save of the season. Tune into Fox at 9pm. My prediction is it'll be either MK, who was in the bottom last week or Sam, who can sing but is a little stiff. Since the girls love Sam, I'm leaning to MK.
