In anticipation of the heavy snow expected to hit central New York, the City of Utica is declaring a Snow Emergency.

The Snow Emergency will go into effect on Wednesday at noon and will remain in effect until further notice.

All vehicles must be off the streets by noon tomorrow to allow for safe passage for snow removal and emergency vehicles

Vehicles left on City streets after noon are subject to ticketing and towing.

The City also urges caution as there may be damage to tree limbs and potential power outages due to the anticipated heavy snow.

If anyone requires assistance they should call 911.
