The Christmas Tree Lighting in Rockefeller Center in New York City is a tradition each year. In fact, a couple of years ago, my daughter was in New York City when they were putting up the tree and sent back some on-the-spot photos of the tree being transported to its standing place in Manhattan. The tree lighting and TV broadcast are this week.
