Your FrogFest 29 headliner Chris Janson loves New York. In our FrogFest Kubota Conversation, he talks about his love for New Yorkers, Chicken Riggies and his new album.

Chris took the time to hang out with Big Frog 104's Luke Austin in the White's Farm Supply Kubota before he took the stage at FrogFest 29.

One of the coolest moments was when he started talking about New York and how much he loves coming here because of the people.

"I love New York, it's always traditionally been one of the greatest states for me to play in all of the U.S.A., the people here are just the real deal, I love the blue collar worker aspect of the state of New York man its just good, hard working, honest living people. That's the kind of people I grew up with and grew up around. That means a lot, it says a lot about the people around here and where y'all are from."

That wasn't all he had to say about us:

"The respect value from New Yorkers has always been a big thing for me, and I'm not just saying that."

How amazing is that? New Yorkers, and especially all of you Big Frog 104 listeners have continually made a lasting impression on Chris.

Hopefully that means we can get him back up here sooner than later.

That could be sooner now that he has a new album coming out. In fact, he just released a preiview of the album in a 5-song EP that hit stores and iTunes on Friday.

He says he wanted to get the EP out so his fans could have something new instead of making us all wait.

"I just wanted something to kind of make sure the fans have while we're touring this summer instead of having the anticipation of waiting for so long, its just, let's get some music out, so we did."
