Here's a treat for us in 2014, a video just surfaced of Chris Farley playing motivational speaker Matt Foley years before he did so on Saturday Night Live in 1997. Watch it here. 

According to Business2community, before SNL Farley was part of the improv comedy group Second City.

During his time with Second City, he got to perform with Bob Odenkirk, best known for Mr. Show and his role as lawyer Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad. Odenkirk helped co-create Matt Foley, the motivational speaker who “lives in a van down by the river.”
