The battles continues with Blake Shelton and his advisor Brad Paisley on The Voice. Krista Hughes, the country teen and pop singer Chris Crump took on the Paisley Dolly Parton duet 'When I Get Where I'm Going.' Who's going to the knockouts?

Chris Crump vs Krista Hughes

Classic country singer Krista Hughes teamed up with pop artist Chris Crump for a battle of Paisley's classic hit 'When I Get Where I'm Going.' Paisley even re-wrote the melody to highlight Hughes' voice. "Anytime you have three lines to sing by yourself, don't be mediocre. Be great," he advices during rehearsals.

Hughes was great enough to make Paisley rethink the original. "It's different than the record and cool, and what we should have done." But she wasn't good enough during the live battles.

Blake was impressed with Hughes voice. "You did a great job of taking a male song and finding places to make your voice work."

The Voice battles continue on NBC Monday October 19th at 9pm.
