Chobani CEO America’s Newest Billionaire

It is the archetypical American success story. In 2005 Turkish immigrant Hamdi Ulukaya started a little Greek yogurt company with 5 employees in South Edmeston and called it Chobani. The product took off becoming America’s favorite Greek yogurt and now, according to Bloomberg.com, after just 7 short years Ulukaya has become America’s newest billionaire. Ulukaya says the success of Chobani is a shared success.
“The real story here is the collective success of Chobani and how we as a company, through our fans and community, have left an indelible mark on the yogurt industry.”
