A camera is a photographer's most essential tool for their work. See how Central New Yorkers celebrated National Camera Day

Cameras are easily the most popular way for us to be able to capture our memories. Just about everyone has them at all times. Whether you're using one because you're passionate about photography, or just taking a selfie on your smartphone, it's hard to go a day without using a camera.

Every year on June 29th, we celebrate the camera and all that the camera does for us. We also celebrate how far the camera has come. What was once a large and bulky device is now small enough to fit into your pocket, or even customized to fit your personal need.
