Central New York is home to the Country's 1st handicap accessible high ropes course. And it's all thanks to The Root Farm in Sauquoit, who've been providing programs for all ages and abilities for 25 years. Now, there's lots more with their latest expansion.

Well known for their Equine and Agriculture programs, the newest addition is called Root Farm Adventures. It includes low and high ropes courses, a 1,000-foot-long zip line and rock climbing tower all open to the public and all accessible to all ages and abilities.

The official ribbon cutting ceremonies are Monday, August 6th at 4:00 p.m. at the farm located at 2860 King Road, Sauquoit. During the celebration, special discounts will be available for the zip line ($15) and rock climbing wall ($5)  from 3:00 to 6:00.
