National Pancake Day is coming up in March and you can help the Children's Miracle Network reach their goal of raising $3.5 million by picking up a free short stack.

For the 12th year in a row, the CMN is teaming up with IHOP to support finding cures and eradicating life-threatening diseases affecting children and families everywhere.

On Tuesday, March 7, stop into any IHOP location nationwide and you will get a free short stack of pancakes from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. with some locations extending their hours to 10 p.m.

In return for your free pancakes, guests are asked to leave a small donation to CMN Hospitals.

All donations collected will be given to national charities and local hospitals.

in 2016, IHOP collected almost $4 million for CMN hospitals and since the program started, they have raised more than $24 million for children's health and wellness charities.

This way when you grab your short stack and feel bad about ruining your diet, you can take comfort in knowing that you're helping less fortunate children locally and nationwide.

Visit IHOP.com for locations and hours of operation near you, and visit Children'sMiracleNetworkHospitals.org to make an online donation.
