Halloween has a special meaning for Garth Brooks, but not in a "trick or treating" way. Garth's sister, Betsy passed away on Halloween, 2013 and in her honor he is making a special sampling of his new album available this year for 24 hours.  Click for more details.

In an e-mail, Garth explained how he had been honoring his sister for the past year.

we have flown the "B 13" on the guitar in her honor. We will fly it one last time on the two shows in Lexington this Halloween night. It has been an honor to fly her salute for the past year, she was and is loved by so many and she will forever be with us every time we take the stage.

Regarding the free sampling of the new album, Garth says a friend asked them to offer some insight on how each song came about.

Because it is GhostTunes, Halloween seems like the perfect time. So, for 24 hours, starting at midnight Thursday night, October 30th and for the entire 24 hours of Halloween, 2014, a sneak-peek at the new album will be available...

The sneak peek will only be available at "GhostTunes" starting tonight at midnight.  Garth's new album, "Man Against Machine" will be in stores November 11.
